The struggles of artists coming from outside in Hindi cinema and the opportunities that star kids coming from a family connected with the film industry get easily are often in the news. Despite being an outsider, actress Kriti Sanon came from Delhi and not only established herself as an actress, but now she is also producing films. Kriti talked about the challenges of outsiders and nepotism during the 55th International Film Festival of India going on in Goa. She said, ‘When you do not come from a film background, then definitely everything is achieved after a little struggle. I think that after doing two-three films, if you keep doing good work, then nothing can stop you.’ Kriti further blamed the media and the audience for nepotism. She said, ‘We keep saying ‘nepotism…nepotism’, not only the industry but also the media and the audience are responsible for this. Because the audience wants to see only what is told by the media about certain star kids.
