Meta launches new Llama AI model, costs increase by 33%

San Francisco | Social media company Meta has launched its new AI model Llama 3.3 has been launched. It has 70 billion parameters. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg says that it works as well as the larger model, but is faster and more economical. This model will make Meta’s Llama system more useful.

This will allow developers to easily work on Meta’s open source AI system. Meta has purchased more than 1 lakh Nvidia GPUs for this, giving its computing resources a tough competition like XAI. This led to Meta’s expenses increasing by 33% to about Rs 72,000 crore in the second quarter of 2024 from Rs 54,188 crore last year.
